You are encouraged to fill out your FAFSA as soon as you decide you want to attend Gretna Career College. Do keep in mind that filling out your FAFSA using the Gretna Career College federal school code does not commit you into attending the school. You can view Financial Aid Steps for assistance with completing your FAFSA. If you need assistance with completing the FAFSA our financial aid department will be available to assist you. Although you will need to have a high school diploma, GED or have passed the ATB in order to enroll, you may complete your FAFSA at any time. If you decide to come in so that the financial aid department can assist you in filling out your FAFSA, please be sure to bring in your income tax information.

All applicants will be given the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).  A minimum score must be met in order to be recommended for acceptance.  The Gretna Career College Acceptance Committee will then review your file as well as the recommendation from the admissions rep, to determine acceptance into a program.

Once eligibility for enrollment has been determined by the Acceptance Committee, the applicant will be notified of acceptance into the college. They will receive a letter with orientation information.  They will also be encouraged to complete the financial aid process. The student will sign an enrollment agreement and a $50 registration fee is collected at this time.

If the application is rejected by the school or if you cancel your contract, the cancellation and refund policy will be followed.  The enrollment agreement and registration fee guarantees enrollment in the next available starting date.

Associate in Occupational Studies Degree (AOS).  To matriculate into an AOS program, applicants MUST have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum composite TABE score of 10.0.  An official copy of the high school or GED transcript must be received before a candidate can formally enroll in the AOS program.
