On Time Completion

Rate

The on-time completion rate was calculated by taking the total number of students that completed the program on-time from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 and dividing by the number of student that completed the program during that same period. The total was multiplied by 100 to get the percentage.

Example:

Students who completed on-time as defined in the catalog in 2009-2010 award year.

*100=On-Time Completion Rate

Job Placement Rate

The job placement rate is calculated by taking the number of students that are employed in the field in which they studied divided by the total number of students that completed the program in June 2008-May 2009 enrollment period using the July 2010 ACCSC reporting period. The total was multiplied by 100 to get the percentage. (Job Placement is calculated by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges standards.)

Median Loan Debt

The median loan debt was determined by charting the loan debt of all students that completed the program from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. The numerical values were put in ascending order and the middle amount was chosen for each type of loan debt: FFEL/Direct Loans; Private Education Loans; and Institutional Financing Arrangements. Gretna Career College only participates in the Direct Loan Program.
